《孤独症和发育障碍评论杂志》发表原创文章,对孤独症谱系障碍广泛的跨学科研究领域的主题进行批判性评论。主题范围从基础到应用,包括但不限于遗传学、神经科学、诊断、应用行为分析、精神药理学、发病率、患病率、病因学、鉴别诊断、治疗、治疗效果的测量、教育、感知和认知。跨越生命周期的主题是合适的。此外,考虑到共病率较高,将睡眠障碍、喂养问题、运动困难、ADHD、焦虑、抑郁和其他障碍与自闭症谱系障碍相结合是合适的。《日刊》的目标是面向国际读者,这一点反映在编辑委员会中。
