Ardeola:International Journal of Ornithology(英语:Ardeola:International Journal of Ornithology)是西班牙鸟类学会SEO/BirdLife的科学期刊。该杂志于1954年首次出版时就有一个区域重点。从那时起,特别是在过去的二十年里,该杂志扩大了其主题和地理范围。它现在是一个全面的国际论坛,研究鸟类学的各个方面。因此,我们欢迎在基础生物学、生态学、行为学、养护和生物地理学等领域进行研究,特别是基于假设的研究。虽然我们有很长的地中海和新热带研究的出版历史,我们接受世界各地的调查论文。每卷Ardeola有两个部分,每年1月和7月出版。每期的主体部分包括完整的原创文章(论文和评论文章)和关于方法论或启发性发现的简短注释(简短通信)。出版物的语言是英语,摘要、图例和表格标题也是西班牙语。Ardeola还出版评论书评和博士论文摘要;总结鸟类学论文在西班牙辩护。最后有两个西班牙语部分,鸟类新闻;西班牙稀有鸟类委员会的年度报告《西班牙稀有鸟类的观察》,总结了最近在西班牙对鸟类的重要观察。
