应用植被科学的重点是社区一级的主题,有关人类与植被的相互作用,包括全球变化,自然保护,自然管理,恢复植物群落和自然栖息地,以及规划半自然和城市景观。欢迎进行植被调查、建模和遥感应用。不符合此范围的植被科学论文(没有应用方面,也不是植被调查)应提交给我们的合作期刊《植被科学杂志》。这两种期刊都只发表关于单一物种生态学的论文,前提是它在构建植物群落中发挥了关键作用。
